Upon completion of your tattoo, a bandage will be applied. 

After 1-2 hours, feel free to gently remove. Don’t worry if the bandage sticks to your skin, simply wet it and continue to remove. Use the steps listed below to properly cleanse.

1. Wash your tattoo in a circular motion using an antibacterial soap and warm water

2. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let it air dry for a few minutes

3. Apply a thin coat of Ointment (we prefer H20 Healing Ointment, Aquaphor, or A&D)

These steps should be repeated at least 2-3 times per day. 

The key to proper healing is to keep the area hydrated. Do not apply a thick layer of ointment. Only apply enough ointment to cover the tattoo with a very thin layer. 

Over the next few nights, apply ointment and cover with a non-stick bandage or plastic wrap while sleeping. You will notice the tattoo will start to peel. PLEASE DO NOT PICK!!!
